Bring your team together at the Big White House near Cockermouth. With sole use of the house, 11 bedrooms sleeping up to 24 guests and space to eat and relax together, it is a practical base for planning retreats and team get-togethers.

There is parking for at least 12 cars, Wi-Fi and three separate lounges, giving your group room for informal discussions as well as time to unwind.

Space to get everyone together

The 18-foot dining table seats 24 for meals and provides a shared space for group discussions. The ground floor snug, upstairs lounge and cinema room offer separate spaces for smaller conversations.

If you are planning working sessions, please discuss your group size and preferred setup with us before booking. Projectors, presentation screens, microphones and sound systems are not provided, so please bring any equipment you need. Wi-Fi is available; contact us about any specific connectivity requirements.

Stay together, with room to unwind

The house has a mixture of double, twin, bunk and family rooms across two floors. The maximum of 24 guests assumes room sharing, so check the sleeping arrangements against your team's needs before booking.

Cook and eat at your own pace

Prepare meals at your own pace in the large kitchen, equipped with two electric ovens, a six-burner gas hob, two dishwashers and two fridge-freezers. Everyone can eat together at the dining table.

If you would prefer to use an outside caterer, please discuss your plans with us before making arrangements.

Make time for a game or a film

After your discussions, enjoy a game in the separate pool room, settle down for a film in the cinema room or spend time in the garden. The three lounges give guests a choice of places to relax.
