How to get here

From the A66

1. At the roundabout west of Cockermouth, take the A595 towards Carlisle.
2. At the next roundabout, take the A594 towards Maryport.
3. Look for the right-hand turn signposted Tallentire. Take extra care here, as the turning is on the crest of a small rise.
4. Follow the road through Tallentire, observing the village's one-way system.
5. Continue out of the village until you reach the junction. The Big White House is directly ahead.
6. Take the second right-hand turning to enter the Big White House. Parking is at the rear.
